Hi everyone! Thanks for checking in. I thought I could do one quick post before I left the country. I will be leaving for Prague on Tuesday afternoon (I have about 2 days and 17 hours until then, hence the title).
The last few days have been really hectic. I finished my last (very short) shift at the Rusty Bucket on Thursday, moved out of my apartment in Columbus on Friday, and have spent today watching the Buckeyes and getting together the odds and ends I need for packing. It's been sad to say goodbye to all of those that I have grown so close to over the past 4 years, and I expect that the next goodbyes will be even harder. Despite the sadness, I am really excited to start my new adventure abroad!
I will get into Prague on Wednesday and spend the night there before taking a bus to Brno (the city where I will be teaching) on Thursday. I would really appreciate any last minute travel advice that anyone might have and I'll be sure to update soon upon my arrival!
Hi Amanda! I'm sooo excited for you and can't wait to follow your blog. But first....email me when you get to Amsterdam, Prague and Brno!!!

ReplyDeleteThe pics are awesome - very old, ornate architecture just as I had heard. Some of the best finds occur when we are wandering so good for you Amanda setting out into the city.
